A classic and elegant houseplant with beautiful white flowers that can last for months with the right care. Phalaenopsis orchids are easy to look after and make a lovely gift, whether for a special occasion or simply to brighten up the home.

Care:
Place somewhere bright with plenty of indirect light, away from strong direct sunlight. Water when the roots look silvery or the growing medium feels dry, usually around once every 1–2 weeks. Let any excess water drain away and avoid leaving the orchid sitting in water.

They enjoy a warm room and a little humidity, but keep them away from cold draughts and radiators. Once the flowers have finished, you can trim the flower stem back to encourage new growth and, with a bit of luck, more beautiful blooms.
